Easter Road Trip

This morning, Keith and I are heading north to Virginia for a few days, to spend Easter with one of my daughters, her husband, and my little grandson, Bennett, who appears below in a little yellow suit that his daddy used to wear…

It will be such fun to spend time with that boy ~ the last time I saw him, he was just 4 weeks old, and he kept us all busy tending to his needs.

Now he’s at the age when he’ll be rewarding us with giggles and smiles.

It will be a treat to spend some time with his parents, too ~ they’ve been working so hard to be the best parents ever, and deserve a little chance to celebrate their accomplishments.

While we’re in town, we’ll also make a Trader Joe’s run to stock up on basics like olive oil, coffee, and some of our favorite snacks.

You can learn how I feel about Trader Joe’s at this previous post.

I promise to keep you posted on our whereabouts over the next few days, so check back for more Road Trip news!
