Rock Around the Clock

No “Oldies” show would be complete without including “Rock Around the Clock”, a simple 12-bar-blues tune made famous by Bill Haley and His Comets in 1954, when it hit #1 on both U.S. and U.K music charts.

Ranked #158 on the Rolling Stone Magazine’s list of the “500 Greatest Songs of All Time”, it is the tune that we always use to start off our shows and get folks in the mood for a good dose of “Smokin’ Oldies” with “Me and My Baby”.
