One of the things that stands out in my mind as a childhood memory at Easter, is Gene Autrey singing “Here Comes Peter Cottontail”.
My Dad had the habit of stopping by the record store after his Saturday morning haircut, and bringing home musical treats for us kids.
This must have been one of his offerings, and I share it with you, just as I shared it this year with my Grandson, Bennett.
“Here Comes Peter Cottontail”
The lyrics may be a bit outdated, as I’m fairly confident that there aren’t many modern Moms out there sporting an orchid corsage like they did when I was young, but it’s a sweet little tune, from a simpler time.
Happy Easter from Me and My Baby!

Loved hearing the EAster Bunny song. I haven’t heard it for years. I imagine Bennett loved it too. Love, Pat

Bennett loved “Peter Cottontail” — he’s taken to dancing to tunes with a good beat! =) Thanks for sharing, Mom!
