Autumn Equinox

Although it doesn’t really feel much like fall here in Florida, today marks the beginning of the season.

So, Keith and I bought a pumpkin to set the stage. Then we whipped up a batch of Persimmon Butter, and baked a loaf of Molasses Buttermilk Bread to supplement our supper of classic chicken and noodles.

The official “Me and My Baby Band 2013 Autumn Equinox Meal” will be accompanied by our own homemade white table wine ~ of course!

As we sit and enjoy our simple meal tonight, and sip our wine by candlelight, we will bring our thoughts inward to home and hearth,  and gratitude for the bounty we enjoy ~ and wish you well!
